According to today's Wall Street Journal, since 2004 Washington's deficit spending has "tumbled by $251 billion" [$1,640 for each individual taxpayer]. This is including $150-$200 billion [$980-1,310 per taxpayer].
They are getting ready to spend $286 billion over the next 5 years [$374 per year per taxpayer] to pay back wealthy farmers for their generous campaign contributions.
Lowering the National Debt is nice, but its being done by HIGHER tax revenue from you and me. That's like paying for you credit card bills by taking money from a relative. They have not earned anything and need to reduce their share of OUR earnings.
